Can you sell on your own? Yes. Should you? No!

This is what I tell potential sellers that do not want to pay a commission and are contemplating going the for-sale-by-owner route. Will they be able to complete a sale of their apartment on their own? Most likely, yes. They can also cut their own hair and represent themselves in court. Would this produce the most desirable outcome? I think we all know the answer to that one:)
